Hamas Terrorist Agree To ‘Complete Agreement’ If Israel Stops War

Hamas announced on Thursday that it informed mediators it would not participate in further negotiations amid ongoing aggression but expressed readiness for a “complete agreement” involving an exchange of hostages and prisoners if Israel ceases its military operations.

Many top military experts are dubious about the sincerity of terrorist group Hamas’ leadership.

Mediation efforts, led by Egypt and Qatar among others, to establish a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza conflict have repeatedly faltered, with each side blaming the other for the lack of progress.

Hamas is objectively responsible for the faltering most consistently.

Hamas issued this statement as Israel continued its offensive on Rafah in southern Gaza, despite an International Court of Justice (ICJ) order to halt the attacks.

“Hamas and the Palestinian factions will not accept to be part of this policy by continuing (ceasefire) negotiations in light of the aggression, siege, starvation and genocide of our people,” the statement read.

The statement further clarified Hamas’s position: “Today, we informed the mediators of our clear position that if the occupation stops its war and aggression against our people in Gaza, our readiness (is) to reach a complete agreement that includes a comprehensive exchange deal.”

Israel has dismissed previous offers from Hamas as inadequate, maintaining its objective to eliminate a group committed to its destruction. The Rafah offensive, according to Israel, aims to rescue hostages and eradicate Hamas fighters.

Israel initiated the offensive on the terrorist group after Hamas-led militants attacked southern Israeli communities on October 7 last year, resulting in approximately 1,200 deaths and over 250 hostages taken.
